Jonathan Twynham
My name is Jonathan and I have always had a keen interest in Lego. I remember my very first set, it was No. 8859, a Lego Technic Tractor from 1981. It was bought second hand from a local car boot and I still have this set today. Following on from this I was bought various sets over the years for birthday and christmas presents. This tradition still exists even to this day.
As an Adult Fan of Lego (AFOL) I began to design and build models for display at home. I joined a LUG (Lego User Group) called Brickish and realised that there were other people like myself! I was then contacted by a fellow member of a group (Brickish) who wanted a model designing for his son to build as an 11+ school entrance project. I designed the model and created instructions to enable his son to be able to build the model.
Speaking to him after the build it was suggested that I should offer my services to other people who want models for display. So I am happy to design and/or build models for other people.
The original model is showcased on this website and as we complete more designs / builds they will also be shown on here. The aim of the website is to allow you to see what we are doing and where we are displaying our models. We hope to offer reviews and news etc on here to in the future. We may even create a youtube channel to give you exclusive tours of some of our bigger models!
Sian Twynham
I am Sian Twynham. I became a Lego fan as I got older. As a child I played with Lego at friends and family members, but never owned any myself. After I met Jonathan I was introduced to more Lego as he had an extensive collection.
During maternity leave I helped Jonathan sort his collection and thats when my interest began. I prefer the newer sets such as the Creator Expert range. Since then my collection has increased bit by bit and I add sets that I like.
I have since began designing my own models and also assisting Jonathan with Just Another Brick.
