We wanted to display something a little different to what we normally see at Lego shows. We came upon the idea of building something from Duplo. When our daughter was a toddler she had a large box of Duplo and we had built her various things, her favourite was a rocket. We decided that this would be the ideal thing to do, afterall, who doesnt like a rocket!
After constructing the Duplo rocket and stand we thought that we could even make a companion rocket out of Lego.
There are 588 pieces of Duplo to make the rocket, and 588 pieces of Lego in the smaller rocket (not including the stands!)
